Registries

Tab and I finally got completely registered last week, and I am so excited! We have registries at Ramsey Fritz Jewels in Tyler and Pottery Barn.

You can contact Ramsey Fritz Jewels by calling 903 526 3062 or logging on to www.ramseyfritzjewels.com.

Pottery Barn has an extensive and easy to use website from which most of what we picked out can be ordered. Just log on to www.potterybarn.com and through a series of options, you will find our registry.

You can also just walk into a store!


I hope everyone is as excited as I am! If you haven't booked your flight yet, you need to do so...there are some great, inexpensive flights available right now.

The official Save the Date Cards (first round, actually still waiting on several addresses) have gone out! Although this is not the formal invitation, please feel free to RSVP now. I need a count asap, so I can determine whether or not I've kept my guest list small enough!

Rooms Reserved

We have reserved a block of rooms at the W Hotel on Lexington Avenue in NYC. You may call 1.877.WHOTELS to reserve a room, and when you do, tell them you are with the "Kerr & Lawhorn Wedding Room Block." The rooms are locked in at $309 a night. I do know that several guests have found alternatives that are quite a bit cheaper, so please feel free to do your own thing! In fact, if you found something at a great rate, feel free to post it here.

* If you do intend on staying at the W, you must call in your reservation on or before May 20, 2009. After that, the rooms will go back into the public pool, and will no longer be offered at a discount.

We Heart NY!

Welcome, everyone, to our wedding blog! I have to say, first of all, that I hate blogs, but this one seems like a necessity. Since we are forcing everyone to meet us in the city, I thought a blog might help us all coordinate our plans. I am going to try to keep the most current info listed here, so that it may be helpful to you as you plan your trip.
